On May 6^th 2011, I showed my thesis work at the University at Albany Art Museum. At 6:30 pm sharp I organized an inundation of the museum with approximately 50 South Asian women dressed in Shalwar Qameez who changed the demographic of the space by 30%. This migration of women from their homes to a space typically foreign to them created an interesting encounter between them and the usual attendees.
